Pushing the limits

Anestasia Vodka is an American handcrafted spirit whose story begins during World War II in Eastern Europe, with co-founder Yuliya Mamontova’s grandmother Anestasia.

Just as it was during the prohibition in the United States, bootlegging was a punishable offense in Soviet Ukraine. In 1946, Anestasia was arrested, convicted, and sent to prison for bartering essentials needed to survive — and producing what is known as a world-renowned vodka. Following her release, the rebellious entrepreneur Anestasia continued to follow her passion — providing for her family by making the smoothest vodka possible. Today, Yulia wants to inspire women to follow their passion. To rebel against stereotypes and continue to push the limits. Just like her grandmother, she is a rebel in a historically male-dominated vodka industry.

Anestasia Vodka is presented in a stunning glass bottle designed by the award-winning designer, Karim Rashid. While Rachel Larkin was working at his New York City studio, she assisted the Industrial Design team to conceptualize a special edition packaging for the brand. Inspired by ice and being frozen in time, the bottle and shot glasses are nestled within a clear vacuformed plastic, surrounded by chrome walls and clear windows.
