Karim Rashid
Anestasia Vodka x Special Edition Packaging
A Distinctive
Brand Moment
While on the design team at Karim Rashid’s New York City studio, Rachel contributed to the creation of a limited-edition packaging concept for Anestasia Vodka—an ultra-premium brand known for its award-winning bottle design and unique faceted silhouette inspired by cracked ice. This concept work was commissioned to commemorate a special brand milestone and called for a visual system that extended the elegance and sculptural identity of the bottle into physical and promotional touchpoints.
Visual Language & Form
The project required a deep integration of industrial design principles with branding sensibility. Rachel supported the studio’s industrial design team by contributing to the visual development of custom glassware and packaging structure that echoed the angular, ice-like forms of the signature Anestasia bottle. The final concept featured mirrored substrates, prismatic structures, and packaging details designed to reflect and refract light—enhancing the illusion of the bottle being suspended or frozen in place.
Expanding the Experience
In addition to the structural design support, Rachel developed visual language for the limited-edition release collateral, including promotional renders and mockups. The intention was to preserve the brand’s luxury cues while experimenting with new ways to surprise and engage collectors and high-end buyers.
Outcome
The project was presented to the client as a formal design proposal during Rachel’s time at the studio. It remains a strong example of her ability to translate luxury product identity into immersive brand extensions.
