Globally recognized as one of the leading lighting companies, Soraa leveraged groundbreaking science to produce unparalleled color accuracy in its lighting solutions. Founded by Shuji Nakamura, Nobel Prize Winner and the pioneer of modern LED lighting, Soraa aimed to replicate the natural illumination characteristics of sunlight.

In collaboration with W.Bradford, Rachel Rojo contributed her design expertise, helping the team launch an impressive, award-winning marketing campaign. Her role focused on transforming complex scientific concepts into visually compelling narratives that resonated with audiences beyond traditional industry boundaries.

 

Elevating Brand Storytelling Through Visual Design

Rachel led the campaign’s visual storytelling with strategic design direction and detailed execution across multiple mediums. Her editorial-grade designs embodied Soraa’s technological sophistication, seamlessly translating complex color-rendering methodologies into engaging, approachable content.

Her core contributions spanned thoughtfully crafted print and digital experiences, from premium coffee table book layouts showcasing rich photography and nuanced storytelling to custom-designed TM-30 playing cards—highlighting Shuji Nakamura and Thomas Edison—turning advanced color theory into tangible, interactive assets. Rachel further amplified the campaign through dynamic digital and social media graphics that deepened audience engagement, and educational print collateral designed to elegantly explain Soraa’s innovative technology in compelling, user-friendly formats.

Collectively, these elements positioned Soraa not just as a leader in lighting technology, but as a visionary brand at the intersection of art, science, and culture.

A integral part of the campaign’s broader credibility was fused through internationally acclaimed color experts. Among those engaged included Color Consultant, Author and Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman.

Soraa launched a social media campaign showcasing Leatrice Eiseman’s mutual appreciation of perceived and technical manifestations of color in daily life. The W.Bradford team developed a social media campaign featuring quotes from Soraa’s featured interview with Eiseman, along with photography provided from Leatrice herself to illustrate her own memories related to color.
