Custom Converse Concept Development for SEC

While serving as a brand strategy and creative consultant at W.Bradford, Rachel led conceptual development for a special collaboration between LEVY Recognitions—a longtime W.Bradford client—and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The goal: create a bold, commemorative series of custom Converse sneakers designed to honor SEC championship athletes in a way that felt personal, iconic, and collector-worthy.

Rachel worked in close collaboration with a member of the creative team to develop six original design directions. Each concept reflected the spirit of the SEC while pushing creative boundaries—blending athleticism, nostalgia, and contemporary visual language. From comic-book heroism to expressive linework, Rachel drove the overarching campaign narrative and visual ideas, framing themes of victory, repetition, and unity across the designs—and applicable to all sports disciplines represented.

This project exemplifies Rachel’s ability to translate brand strategy into story-driven, culturally resonant design concepts—particularly within the world of sports, merchandise, and branded experiences.
